The mission of the Student Educational Develoment Fund is to provide financial support for the college educational needs of individuals with Asperger's Syndrome, Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities, High-Functioning Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and other learning differences.
Many families are unable to afford the costs and are not eligible for support from outside means such as government grants. The Student Educational Development Fund will also provide support for professional development of staff responsible for providing the education and support services required for those individuals it serves.
Our Campaign For The Future aims to increase the number of students enrolled in CIP who qualify for assistance based on eligibility criteria that includes financial status, academic progress and other areas of special talent.
Additionally, The SEDFund will develop and implement professional seminars and workshops for faculty and staff of the College Internship Program with the latest educational advances to continue the excellence in programming for students.
The Campaign For The Future hopes to raise $100,000 to meet our goals. Through the generosity of board members, $40,000 has already been contributed as a challenge for others, who believe in the importance of CIP, to match.
